What is Philips IntelliSite Collaboration Suite?

The Philips IntelliSite Collaboration Suite* (Collaboration Suite) is a web based platform allowing for the digital creation, management, and review of pathology consultations. The platform enables digital Whole Slide Image (WSI) and consult information exchange between pathologists across external institutes on a global scale. This reduces the challenges of the traditional consultation where the logistics and physical shipping of glass slides is costly and could affect patient care. Philips IntelliSite Collaboration Suite is not for diagnostic, monitoring or therapeutic purposes or in any other manner for regular medical practice.

The Collaboration Suite provides your lab fast access to pathology experts worldwide with an intuitive workflow. This occurs on a secure platform with viewing and storage of consults. The platform offers flexible consultation organization and management per site.

Do I need to be 100% digital?

The cases that you send and receive through Collaboration Suite need to be digitized, but you can still do your other work in an analogue way.

Do I need special software?

No, the Collaboration Suite is offered as a Software as a Service product. The solution can be accessed via a Chrome browser from virtually anywhere.

I have a mix of Philips scanners and other vendors. Can I still work with Collaboration Suite?

Yes, the Collaboration Suite is with a range of popular WSI formats. You do not need to be a Philips IntelliSite Pathology Solution user to gain access to the Collaboration Suite.
