Conclusions and results
We achieved a collective dose reduction of approximately 35% as measured by the personal TLD. This was measured the year after we facilitated case-based training in comparison to the year prior without case-based training. Our production slightly increased by 10% over the same period. Also, the average patient dose decreased by 35%.
CT examination with lowest possible dose
Ms Silvana Manganelli talks about performing a CT examination of facial bones of a 12-year old child, from the chin to the orbits with the lowest possible dose for sufficient image quality.
Reducing effective dose
Mr Anthony Tessier talks about reducing effective dose with iterative reconstruction techniques at Hospital Instruction of Armées Sainte-Anne, France.
