Attracting the best and the brightest

Who is the person behind the resume? This summer, we started a new project that helped shed some light on the human side of job hunting. We invited the best people from Europe's top MBA programs for a session filled with case histories, employee interviews, and product presentations.

Participants also had the chance to get a taste of Philips through role play. They learned more about us - and we had the chance to get to know them better, too.
Our first two events were quite successful, and the participants rated them over 4 (on a 5-point scale). More events will be organized later this year.

The continuing search for top talent

Top talent is an essential resource for Philips. Even when we don't have immediate vacancies, we continue looking for potential new colleagues. Our recruiters and business contacts regularly visit business schools, as coordinated by our Recruitment Services Organization. Our goal is to tell people about Philips as employer, and to explain our requirements regarding competencies and commitment.

We hope that potential employees "connect" with Philips and our brand. After all, we are a dynamic company with strong values and vision. Working with innovative and exciting products and projects is a real career-building challenge. At the end of a session - or contact with one of our recruiters - people should leave feeling, "Something is happening at the company - and I want to be part of it!"
